Hand Roll Sushi was born from the vision and passion of Chef Marcio Bolzan, a culinary expert with over 30 years of experience in Japanese cuisine.
In 2013, already living in the United States, Chef Marcio noticed a gap in Orlando’s restaurant scene — there were no Japanese restaurants offering the unique Brazilian-style sushi experience he knew so well.
Driven by his love for authentic flavors and his desire to share a new concept with the local community, he founded Hand Roll Sushi.
From the beginning, the mission was clear: offer a varied menu that celebrates traditional Japanese dishes while also introducing exclusive creations and innovative flavors. This blend of authenticity and originality quickly became the signature of Hand Roll Sushi, making it stand out in a crowded market.
As the first Brazilian-style Japanese restaurant in Orlando, Hand Roll Sushi soon became a reference in the city’s culinary scene. The restaurant won over not only the Brazilian community but also American and Hispanic guests, who fell in love with the unique flavors and unmatched freshness.
